Eriq La Salle is an Actor, Director, Producer, and Award-winning Author. He is best known to worldwide television audiences for his portrayal of the commanding Dr. Peter Benton in the award-winning, critically acclaimed medical drama, ‘ER’. La Salle has maintained a prolific acting career while working steadily as a director on top-rated NBC, Fox, and CBS television network shows. He is currently Executive Producer/Director of NBC’s ‘Chicago P.D.’. He has published two novels and a novella in his Martyr Maker thriller series: Laws of Innocence, Laws of Depravity, and Laws of Wrath. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
